Many of these remedies can help with heartburn and remove acid reflux. You can try to avoid some food that stimulates acid reflux as well. Eat slowly and chew the food properly.

1. Apple Cider Vinegar

The acid reflux occurs because the excess amount of acidity in the stomach. You can consume 1-3 tablespoons of raw ACV to decrease the acidity. The ACV is alkaline-forming so the body will not need to produce too much acid to digest the food. Before a meal you can also take ACV to breakdown the food and absorb it easily. With the help of the enzymes the ACV can help the digestion, preventing the acid reflux.

2. Lemon

Lemons can also help relieve the acid reflux. Lemons just like ACV are alkaline-forming so they can neutralize the acidity in the stomach. You can try consuming one tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice 10 minutes before having a meal and prevent the acid reflux to happen. If you already have an existing acid reflux, you can consume one tablespoon lemon juice early in the morning, before lunch and one before dinner.

3. Ginger

The ginger root is helpful as well. You can chew peeled ginger, you can drink ginger tea or even use ginger lozenges to gain the health benefits. This will help you to produce more secretion to the bile helping the digestive system. Enzymes are useful for breaking down the food that is not properly digested.

4. Aloe Vera

Many people use the Aloe Vera for its health benefits. It can also help with the acid reflux due to its ability to calm irritated tissue and diminish the inflammation. It can also be very helpful with digestion. Mix the translucent flesh of the aloe vera leaf with orange juice and consume it. You can also use the clear gel. The outer part of the aloe leaves act as a powerful laxative helping the intestines to digest food easily.

5. Enzymes

You can improve your digestion and lower weight at the same time by adding enzyme rich foods in your diet. They can help breakdown the food and can help absorb the nutrients as well. Human can produce enzymes on their own, but sometimes due to certain health problems an enzyme deficit can happen. This is why you need to eat enzyme rich food like ginger, papaya, pineapple, raw nuts, raw vegetables and raw fruit. They will help you to get rid of the acid reflux.
